OPENING: Senior Consultant for K-12 Education (base salary $200,000 + 20% bonus)

The Role: EitnerEDU is seeking a *5th* experienced K-12 leader to serve as a Senior Consultant advising districts and education organizations on system-level transformation. This role is ideal for a former superintendent or senior district executive who can:
-Diagnose systemic challenges
-Design actionable reform strategies
-Lead implementation with precision
-Deliver measurable outcomes

What You’ll Do:
-Conduct academic, operational, financial, and governance assessments
-Develop multi-year strategic plans aligned to student achievement
-Advise boards and executive teams on governance and accountability
-Academic & Operational Improvement
-Evaluate curriculum and instructional systems
-Design academic recovery and performance improvement plans
-Review budgets, staffing models, and operational structures
-Identify efficiencies that protect classroom instruction
-Leadership & Change Management
-Coach superintendents and cabinet leaders
-Facilitate executive retreats and strategic planning sessions
-Support stakeholder alignment and crisis stabilization

What We’re Looking For:
-10+ years of K-12 leadership experience (senior district-level leadership preferred)
-Proven record of improving academic and operational performance
-Strong knowledge of school finance and governance
-Executive presence and exceptional communication skills
-Doctorate and turnaround experience preferred.... JD a plus (Jay is a green attorney and would like someone to bounce legal education stuff off of)

Salary & Bennies: $200,000.00 + 20% bonus. All expenses covered and full office technology setup offered, including a live, non-AI assistant, all 1st class travel and accommodations, meals (including a $20.00 DoorDash credit each day of work,) workout gear & sneakers reimbursement, virtual learning courses offered (whatever you want), and a daily allowance for dress clothes (2500.00 at Nordstrom; custom suits are encouraged.) You do NOT have to be a resident of NJ, but do need to live close to an airport.
